I’ve always wanted to hear Josh give a teaching.
Amazing.
I’ve been playing a lot of guitar lately, I guess that’s cool. Maybe I will finally write another song… probably not though, I’m too busy learning how to play Showbread songs.
I have been revising my songs I’ve written, and I’m trying to gain enough confidence in them to finally post them online for you all to hear.
So if I may, I want to quote Josh Scogin because he’s cool and because it’s relevant. “A song is never finished, it is only abandoned.” That’s just so true, and I finally understand that quote now that I’ve written a few songs. Anyways, yeah.
Inbox me stuff?
That is such a hard question to answer, haha. I’m going to cheat and tell you three of my current favorites.
-Saddr Weirdr by Bomb The Music Industry
-I’m Afraid That I’m Me by Showbread
-This is Not a War by Andrew Jackson Jihad
My heart just broke a little bit.
If you’re a band and plan on releasing an album, make sure it’s at least 6 months after Showbread releases an album. If not, I will not listen to you’re album because I’ll still be fanboying over Showbread. Yes, for 6 months.
Is that a normal thing for a CD? Probably not.
But then again, Cancer isn’t a “normal” kind of CD. Get it if you haven’t already. It’s 100% free, all you’ve gotta give is the time it takes to download! Seriously, please download this album. It will change your life.
Suite mate just turned on Skillet really loud while I’m trying to listen to Showbread.
Lol, gotta love Christian colleges, where everyone’s taste in music is, well, generic.
I wish there was someone here at North Greenville University who is just as stoked about the release of Cancer as I am. Seriously. I just want to listen to it with someone who understands the significance of Showbread, and what the band means to me.
*Sigh
I am afraid that I am me, I am me, I’m me, I’m me.
Currently not posting Showbread lyrics on Facebook and starting a storm of angry conservatism.
I am posting Showbread lyrics on Facebook, lol
And Showbread, as well as The Wedding, both have albums releasing today. What a perfect time to get back into reviewing albums.
You can expect my review of Cancer to be up pretty soon. I have yet to get The Wedding’s new album, but I will be getting it soon.
Not possible. All their albums are their best album.
